We need to create a solid team that can carry on the quality of products and service that the cafe has become known for. Although the menu and concepts are simple, we require a team that can wear many hats throughout their shifts. Some of these positions/tasks include:



Front of House

  • grinding/preparing coffee and maintaining coffee station

  • being updated on coffee/tea products that are offered

  • creating coffee masterpieces on espresso machine (training provided)

  • sandwich prep & creation

  • food specials prep (chopping, washing etc)

  • garnish prep (chopping, washing)

  • cleaning & maintaining of equipment & service area

  • everyone takes turns in the dish pit

  • cleaning dining area

  • cleaning bathrooms

  • courteous to customers

  • option to participate in lounge nights & special bistro evenings

  • servepro and food handling a bonus

Lounge Nights

  • serve alcohol (servepro a must when owners not present)

  • warm up basic food (training provided)

  • make specialty coffees (training provided)

  • cleaning & maintaining of equipment & service area

  • everyone takes turns in the dish pit

  • cleaning dining area

  • cleaning bathrooms

  • courteous to customers

  • option to participate in special bistro evenings

  • food handling a bonus

Kitchen

  • cooking from cafe recipes

  • create new recipes to be served (if approved by owners)

  • garnish prep & plating

  • cleaning kitchen

  • basic inventory of food

  • organization cleanliness of kitchen equipment, food & storage shed

  • everyone takes turns in the dish pit

  • food handling a bonus

Hour rate starts at $10/hour with room to grow as the business grows. We will be opening a seasonal licensed patio and will increase entertainment activities. We are looking for an energetic team that will help make the cafe a hot spot not only for locals, but for travellers needing a unique, rural cultural experience.
